Boozy Patriotic Pops Ready for This 4th of July

Print Recipe

Every year I throw a big Forth of July party at my place. I have friends, family, neighbors, friends of friends and friends of the kids. Needless to say, there are a LOT of people in my back yard. I try to change things up every year with a specialty cocktail of some sort.

Every year I find its getting more and more difficult to come up with something creative for my specialty cocktail. I have done countless Jell-O shooters, patriotic punch and endless sangria's. It wasn't until my daughter actually asked if i could make her some blue and red Popsicle's that i thought, heck that's it!

And just like that we made both adult and kid friendly patriotic popsicles. They were a great hit last year and something totally different than I have ever done. Not only was it a scorcher that day, it was a record high so these pops were perfect! With just the right amount of vodka in them, they weren't over powering and were the perfect refreshing summer treat!

With blue curaçao, vodka, lemonade and cherries, these pops were easy-peasy to make! I also made virgin pops for the kiddos! Everyone loved them! Change up the flavor of the vodka and make them as sweet or strong as you like!
