This Frozen Banana Bomb Is Bursting with Delicious Flavors

Print Recipe

Here's a new dessert to try during this beautiful summer weather...Frozen Banana Bomb! At a first glance, you would probably think it's an ice cream dessert, but the truth is, there is no ice cream at all in it!

This tasty treat will have the whole family running to the table, and probably sticking around for seconds too!

When I first attempted to make this recipe I called upon my kids to come give me hand, and they had so much fun creating the chocolate drizzle look while I mixed up the remaining ingredients. Don't feel that you would need to stick to the standard checkered, let loose and create whatever design you'd like to do!

Here are other summer treats to dive into:

Frozen Cheesecake Cookie Sandwiches

Frozen Drumstick Cake

Lemon Tart

1. Begin by lining a large bowl with plastic wrap.

2. In a small bowl melt down your chocolate in the microwave and then transfer to a piping bag in order to drizzle.

3. Drizzle the chocolate into the bowl using a checkered or swirl pattern. Place the bowl into the fridge to allow the chocolate to set.

4. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl mash up the bananas and set aside.

5. In another bowl, using a hand mixer beat together the pudding powder, milk and cream cheese until smooth and then stir in the mashed banana.

6. Finally, fold in the cool whip into the mixture and then spoon the entire mixture into the chocolate drizzled bowl. Place in the freezer until firm.

7. Remove the bowl from the freezer and place the bowl upside on a plate and remove the plastic wrapping. Allow to sit at room temperature for 5 minutes prior to slicing.

8. Optional - top with whip cream and chocolate shavings. Enjoy!
